Emel Songur

Emel Songur has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Emel started their career at EY as a Senior Consultant, where they supported business development and sales activities for technology-related solutions. Emel also interacted with customers and prospects to showcase the value of Ernst&Young's solutions and services. Emel then joined Accenture as a Senior Consultant, where they created tailored solutions for clients, interacted with customers to highlight Accenture's value, and identified opportunities for technology-related improvement. Emel later transitioned to Microsoft as a Sr. Technical Account Manager, where they served as a trusted advisor to customers and the Microsoft team, promoting and delivering premier support services. Emel also worked as a Solution Sales Lead at Microsoft, selling and promoting Microsoft Productivity Cloud solutions to various industries. Currently, they are the Head of Sales, Turkey and CIS at Picus Security, where they oversee sales operations and strategic growth in the region.

Emel Songur has a Master's degree in Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Yildiz Technical University. Emel also holds a High School Diploma in Science from Edirne Süleyman Demirel Fen Lisesi. In addition to their formal education, Emel has obtained several certifications including CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) from ISACA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor from BSI, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute.
