Silvan Tschopp

Silvan Tschopp is the VP of Product Marketing at Picus Security. Silvan has over 10 years of experience in product marketing, positioning, and go-to-market activities in the fields of network security, cloud adoption, and analytics.

Tschopp began their career as a software engineer intern at Hilti France in 2009. Silvan then worked as a software engineer at Avaloq Evolution AG from 2009 to 2011 before taking on the role of VP of Product Marketing at Open Systems from 2012 to 2021. In their current position at Picus Security, Tschopp is responsible for the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market activities for all product and services lines.

After completing their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, Silvan Tschopp pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science at ETH Zürich. Silvan then undertook an academic exchange in business administration and management at CentraleSupélec. Silvan Tschopp has also received certification from the Elevate Product Marketing Academy in "WTF is Go-to-Market?" and from Open Systems in "Mission Control Certified Engineer." Finally, they hold a certification from Microsoft in "Azure Administrator Associate."

They are on a team with Suleyman Ozarslan - Co-Founder & VP of Picus Labs, Omer Oz - VP of Finance & Operations, and Hakan Terzioglu - VP of Corporate Growth. Silvan Tschopp reports to Hamdi Alper Memis, Co-Founder & CEO.
