Zack P.

Zack P. has over a decade of experience in software engineering and development. Zack started their career in 2012 at BrightContext Corporation, where they worked as a Software Engineer, primarily focusing on web app development, testing, and documentation. The company was later acquired by WealthEngine.

In 2014, Zack joined WealthEngine as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the transition process from BrightContext. During their time there, they also wrote the first publicly available SDK for the WealthEngine API.

After that, Zack worked at Cloudmark as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented various solutions using PHP, Node.js, JavaScript, Golang, CSS, SASS, and Bash. Zack contributed to the development of Golang messaging microservices, authentication systems, and public releases for Cloudmark.com.

In 2017, Zack joined Cloudflare, Inc. as a Software Engineer, focusing on full-stack development. Zack worked on core API teams, utilizing Golang, PHP, Node.js, Javascript, and Bash to design and implement systems, services, and web applications. Their accomplishments included designing and implementing a 2FA backup codes system and a high-scale distributed web performance metrics testing system.

Zack then joined Gruntwork in 2020, where they held various roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead. Zack worked on Infrastructure as Code projects using Terraform, Golang, and Bash. Zack was responsible for maintaining internal tools, providing customer support, implementing features and bug fixes, and deploying the reference architecture for customers.

Most recently, in 2023, Zack joined Pinecone as a Staff Developer Advocate. Further details about this role are not provided.

Zack P. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Kenyon College, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, Zack obtained the following certifications: AWS SysOps Administrator Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021, AWS Developer Associate from AWS in October 2021, AWS Cloud Practitioner from AWS in April 2020, AWS Solutions Architect Associate from AWS in March 2021, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in November 2020.
