Director - Employee Experience And Communications at Pioneer Natural Resources

Kim Balderas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Kim started their career in 1997 as a Program Coordinator at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center/EMS Program. Kim then joined American Airlines in 2000, where they held roles as a Flight Service employee and later worked in Communications and Engagement & Communications. Kim played a key role in integrating employee recognition programs after the merger of American Airlines and US Airways. In 2015, they became a Team Lead and oversaw the maintenance of employee data for HR transactions. In 2017, they joined Pioneer Natural Resources Company as a Senior Manager, where they focused on HR operational processes, talent management, and implementing data-driven HR strategies. Subsequently, they transitioned to roles in Employee Relations & HR Ops and Employee Experience and Communications, becoming a Director.

Kim Balderas attended Southwest High School from 1988 to 1992. After completing high school, Kim went on to study at Texas Tech University from 1992 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Development/Family Studies.
