Gustavo MacHado

Gustavo Machado has extensive work experience in the field of design and marketing communications. Gustavo currently holds the position of VP of Design at Pipedrive since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Intuit from 2016 to 2022, where they held various roles including Design Director, Head of Design, and Principal Designer - EMEA. At Intuit, they led international QuickBooks Design Teams and collaborated with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end solutions.

Before their tenure at Intuit, Gustavo worked at Reevoo as Creative Director from 2013 to 2016, where they were responsible for building a creative department and developing a vision for design and user experience. Gustavo also worked as the Founder and Creative Director of Sitz Integrated Agency from 2007 to 2013, where they worked with a range of clients, from local to global brands.

Additionally, Gustavo has experience in academia, having worked as a visiting Professor of Integrated Marketing Communications at both Universidade Positivo and Centro Europeu. Gustavo also founded and served as the Creative Director + Integrated Designer of the entertainment website Descubra Curitiba from 2003 to 2013.

Gustavo Machado's education history begins in 2002 when they enrolled at the Universidade Federal do Paraná. Gustavo pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Tourism Management and Marketing, completing their studies in 2005. Following that, Gustavo continued their educational journey and obtained a Master's degree in Marketing Communications from the same university from 2007 to 2008.

In 2011, Gustavo attended Centro Europeu, where they earned a Certificate of Higher Education in Cinematography and Film/Video Production, which they completed in 2012. Subsequently, in 2017, Gustavo pursued a brief period of study at the University of the Arts London, where they obtained Certificates of Higher Education in Art/Art Studies, General.

Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, Gustavo undertook training at Robbins Madanes Training and obtained a Certification in Coaching.
