Christine Miller

Christine Miller has extensive experience in data science and research, starting as a Youth Development Professional in 2011. Christine advanced their career through roles at organizations like Boston Museum of Science and Uncommon Schools. Their work at The Climate Corporation involved predicting yields of crops and improving yield predictions using satellite imagery. At the University of California, Davis, they conducted research on groundwater quality and nitrogen application, utilizing Bayesian time-series analysis and stochastic simulations. Their most recent role at Pivot Bio is as a Lead Data Scientist, demonstrating their growth in the field.

Christine Miller obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Wellesley College in 2011. Christine then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Animal Biology at the University of California, Davis from 2013 to 2019. During their time at UC Davis, they also earned a Master of Science in Statistics from 2017 to 2019. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Algorithmic Toolbox from Coursera.
