Maria João Ribeiro

Maria João Ribeiro has a diverse work experience. Maria João started their career as an Internship Student in Clinical Psychology at Clinical Psychology - UMINHO, where they gained experience in psychotherapy, psychological evaluation, and data analysis. Maria João then joined Junta de Freguesia da Estrela as a Psychologist, where they developed programs to promote social and emotional skills among children and served as a clinical psychologist.

After that, Maria worked at Landing.jobs as a Talent Acquisition & Customer Support, managing customer support operations. Maria João then co-founded JobClub, a volunteer-based initiative that provided support to job seekers, where they served as the Chief of the Mentorship Program.

Maria also worked at Utrust as a Founder Braga.Growth Meetup, managing a Growth meetup, and later as a People & Recruitment Manager. At Utrust, they focused on cultivating a people-centric culture and overseeing recruitment and HR processes.

Maria João then co-founded ReWORKing, a company dedicated to assisting junior to mid-sized companies in enhancing their people processes and implementing effective strategies.

Maria also worked as a Clinical Psychologist at Centro iEnergy | Aluguer de salas para terapias, consultas e formações em Lisboa and SNS24. Currently, they hold the position of People Operations Manager at Pixelmatters and also works as a Clinical Psychologist at STAHP.

Maria João Ribeiro's education history is as follows:

Maria João Ribeiro completed their Postgraduate studies in Clinical Psychology and Health at the Instituto Português de Psicologia - INSPSIC from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they studied Psychology at the Universidade do Minho from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. During the same period, they also completed a Master's degree in Psychology at the Universidade do Minho.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Maria João Ribeiro has obtained several certifications. Maria João completed a course in Project Management at the Academia Bernardo da Costa in January 2021. In December 2020, they obtained a certification in the Implementation of Psychology Services in National Health Service Units from the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses. Maria João Ribeiro also holds a European Certificate in Psychology (Europsy) awarded by the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations (EFPA) in October 2020.
