Itay Vegh

Itay Vegh has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Itay is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Planck since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Loops from March 2021 to October 2021. Before joining Loops, Itay was a Senior Quantitative Researcher at WorldQuant from July 2019 to April 2021, and a Quantitative Researcher from May 2018 to July 2019. Itay also served as an IoT Researcher at Cy-oT from April 2017 to December 2017. Itay started their career as a Researcher at Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 from March 2014 to March 2017. Additionally, they gained experience as a Mathematics Tutor at Roy Geva Education Center from May 2013 to May 2015, where they worked with a team to teach Math and help students prepare for their Bagrut exam.

Itay Vegh completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Tel Aviv University in 2018, with a double major in Physics and Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, Itay obtained various certifications, including "AI For Medical Treatment" from Coursera, "Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions" and "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" from Google, "AI for Medical Diagnosis" from DeepLearning.AI, and "AI for Medical Prognosis" from Coursera. Itay also obtained certifications from The Wharton School, including "Introduction to Corporate Finance," "Introduction to Financial Accounting," "Introduction to Operations Management," "Managing Social and Human Capital," "Introduction to Marketing," "Microeconomics: The Power of Markets," and "Microeconomics: When Markets Fail" in 2020.
