Peter Rocks

Peter Rocks has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Peter worked as a Technical Account Manager at Planhat starting from March 2023. Prior to that, Peter worked at Samsara as a Field Sales Engineer UK from October 2019 to April 2022, where they conducted trials and demonstrated the benefits of IoT sensors and software to prospective customers. Before Samsara, they worked as a Solution Consultant (Freelance) at Rocks TC Ltd from January 2019 to July 2020. Peter also gained experience as a Customer Success - Senior Technical Consultant at Box from June 2014 to November 2018, where they helped grow the technical consulting team and developed sales and consulting skills. Before Box, they were a Senior Technical Client Manager at Trayport Pte Ltd from August 2011 to May 2014, working in the wholesale energy markets. Peter started their career at FSI (FM Solutions) Limited as an Implementation Consultant from September 2009 to August 2011, where they gained exposure to SaaS and managed services. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Development Manager at IEB Software from June 2008 to April 2009, and as an Implementation & Support Analyst at CIS Oncology from July 2006 to March 2008.

Peter Rocks attended Queen's University Belfast from 2001 - 2006. Peter earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and achieved a 2:1 degree classification. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the ITIL Foundation IT Service Management certification from ITIL Certified in June 2013. More recently, in April 2023, they acquired the Certified Power User - Organise Customer Data certification from Planhat.
