Nitzia Lopez, SHRM-CP, is currently working as the People & Culture Director Americas at PlantPlus Foods since September 2022. Prior to this, they were a Human Resources Business Partner at Kerry from June 2021 to September 2022. From September 2018 to June 2021, Nitzia held the role of Regional Human Resources Manager at PLZ Aeroscience Corporation, where they were actively involved in creating a climate of trust and open communication, leading change initiatives, and developing training programs. Before that, they worked at Home Run Inn as a Benefit Specialist/HR Generalist from April 2015 to September 2018, managing benefits programs and building strong partnerships with brokers and vendors. Nitzia also has experience as an HR Specialist at Johnson, Blumberg & Associates, LLC from November 2013 to April 2015, where they focused on talent acquisition and embedding company values in the hiring process. Nitzia began their career as an HR Benefits Specialist at Bell Financial Benefits from September 2007 to October 2010, providing service and support for employee benefit plans.

Nitzia Lopez, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Illinois Chicago. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. Nitzia obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021. Nitzia also obtained a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in July 2020.
