Veena Pg

Veena PG is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability, biodiversity, and environmental science. Currently serving as Manager-Sustainability and Innovation at PlantWorks Group since October 2022, Veena previously worked as a Reviewer at Cactus Communications from January 2022 to October 2022. Veena led the Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) Cell at the Karnataka Biodiversity Board from April 2015 to August 2021, implementing the Biological Diversity Act, 2002. Earlier roles include Conference Coordinator and Research Associate at Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment, and academic coordination for a postgraduate program at the Wildlife Conservation Society-India. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law from the National Law School of India University and a Master’s degree in Ecology and Environmental Science from Pondicherry University.
