Diego Quiroga began their career in 2001 as a Senior Consultant - Technical Lead at Accenture, where they completed multiple .NET projects for industrial companies. In 2003, they joined IBM Global Services as an IT Architect - Technical Lead, where they recruited and oversaw a team of 6 software engineers delivering a big data solution. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Globant, starting as a Technical Project Manager and eventually becoming the VP Operations, Creative & Social Studio. In 2010, they moved to R/GA as the Director, Head of Production - Buenos Aires, where they started up the Buenos Aires office. In 2012, they joined OLX as the Director, Software Engineering, where they grew, challenged and led four engineering teams. In 2015, they became the Head of Software Development at Artear, managing a team of 35+ software engineers. In 2016, they joined Amazon Web Services as the Engineering Lead, Software Development Manager, responsible for engineering teams within the AWS Commerce Platform. In 2019, they began working at Sauce Labs as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and at Plato as a Mentor - Engineering Leadership. Currently, they are a Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where they are responsible for getting teams to the moon.

Diego Quiroga holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. Diego also has obtained several certifications, such as TeamOps Certification from GitLab (2022), Certified Incident Responder from PagerDuty (2021), Leading with Applied Improv from LinkedIn (2020), IELTS - General Training ~ Overall: 8 from British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment (2016), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance (2009), and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (2005).
