Fernando Otero has a wealth of experience in software engineering. 💻 Fernando began their career in 2007 with Globant, where they worked as a Software Designer/Tech Leader and a Software Engineer at SAC Capit. In 2009, they moved to TD Ameritrade as a Tech Leader. In 2012, they joined Medallia, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2014, they began working at avenida.com as a Principal Software Engineer. In 2016, they co-founded Alavaca and became its CTO, as well as Technical Manager at Jampp. In 2018, they joined OLX Group as a Sr. Engineering Manager for Personalization & Relevance. In 2019, they moved to Rappi as Head of Engineering and VP of Engineering (Personalization & Search). In 2021, they joined Onapsis as Chief Software Architect and Plato as a Mentor for Engineering Leadership.

Fernando Otero began their education in 1998, when they attended the University of Buenos Aires and obtained a Minor in Computer Sciences. 💻 Fernando then went on to obtain an MS in Computer Sciences from the same university in 2012. In 2022, they will complete a Negotiation Program in Business Administration and Management, General at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
