Jag Chadha

Jag Chadha has over 13 years of work experience, beginning in 2007 with Strange Labs (letshead.to) as Co-Founder, where they led software development on a Groupon for restaurants. In 2009, they worked as a Software Engineer at Bash Gaming, then in 2010, they were Engineering Manager at Future Today Inc, where they scaled the development team 4x while keeping the quality bar high. Also in 2010, they were Founder and CEO at Grep42, where they created a freelance job search engine and increased traffic from 0 to 10,000 hits a day. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at BiblioCommons, leading development on the e-book reading platform. In 2015, they were Software Architect at PathFactory. From 2017 to 2020, they were Manager, Platform Engineering and Development Manager at TELUS Digital, where they managed software development teams and was deeply involved in trade-off discussions and architecting reusable solutions across teams. In 2020, they were Sr. Engineering Manager at Wonolo, and also Sr. Engineering Manager at ACV Auctions, where they headed an engineering group with ~40 Product and Engineering team members. Additionally, they were a Mentor for Engineering Leadership at Plato.

Jag Chadha obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from PES University. Additionally, they are a Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer, certified in August 2020.
