Aritra Nag

Aritra Nag has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Cloud Architecture and Consulting. Aritra started their career in 2011 as a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys Limited, where they worked on the design and implementation of retail solutions for Apple Hardware Store Solutions. Aritra then joined Tata Consultancy Services in 2014 as an IT Analyst, focusing on cloud-based talent management solutions. In 2016, Aritra worked at Deloitte India as a Specialist Senior and Consultant, developing microservices and API gateways using Spring Boot and MuleSoft.

In 2018, Aritra joined Ericsson as a Consultant, where they worked on the Automated Connected Cloud Solution for Ericsson and Volvo products, specifically handling the security module and ensuring secure connection setups. Aritra then transitioned to CELLINK in 2019 as a Cloud Architect, working on the development of a user-friendly and insightful system for microscopy.

In 2021, Aritra joined Husqvarna Group as a Senior Cloud Architect, supporting product development teams in building cloud applications using AWS and educating them on best practices and patterns. Aritra also worked towards the adoption and ease of use of AWS services within a microservice architecture.

Most recently, Aritra joined Nordcloud, an IBM Company, as a Senior Cloud Architect and later as a Multi Cloud Architect. In these roles, they created landing zones for migrations of small-scale and long-running workloads, with a focus on AWS.

Starting in 2023, Aritra will be working at Playground Tech as a Senior Cloud Consultant.

Aritra Nag completed their Engineer's Degree in Biotechnology at Heritage Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their Matriculation exam from Hijli High School between 2002 and 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Aritra Nag has obtained various certifications from different institutions. These include the Well-Architected Proficient certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2023, the AWS Learning: Architecting certification from AWS in February 2023, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in February 2022, the Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in February 2022, the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Developer 2020 Certified Associate certification from Oracle in May 2020, the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Certified Associate certification from Oracle in May 2020, the Pivotal Cloud Foundry Developer 1.11 certification from Pivotal in December 2017, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification from AWS in October 2020, the AWS Certified: SAP on AWS – Specialty certification from AWS in September 2022, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from AWS in August 2022, the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) certification from HashiCorp in November 2022, the AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification from AWS in February 2021, the AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty certification from AWS in February 2021, the AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty certification from AWS in January 2021, the AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification from AWS in January 2021, the AWS Certified Database – Specialty certification from AWS in December 2020, the Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification from Google in December 2021, the Professional Cloud Developer certification from Google in December 2021, and the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification from AWS in November 2020.
