Darren Finkelstein

Darren Finkelstein's work experience begins in 2010 as a Research Scientist at Reliable Biopharmaceutical Corp. Darren then joined Stanford University in 2011 as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they focused on synthesizing and evaluating analogs of neurotoxin (+)-saxitoxin for studies of voltage-gated sodium ion channels. Darren also developed fluorescent toxin conjugates for live cell imaging and covalent inhibitors for irreversible channel inhibition. In 2016, Darren worked as a Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Reset Therapeutics before moving on to Pliant Therapeutics in 2017. During their time at Pliant Therapeutics, they have held various positions, including Scientist I, Scientist II, Senior Scientist I, and currently, Principal Scientist.
