Al Cioffi

Al Cioffi has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Al is currently the VP of Sales and Business Development for Energy Solutions at Plug Power. Al has held this position since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at 4GM Capital Group as the Chief Technology Officer from October 2016 to August 2021.

Before joining 4GM Capital Group, they were the VP of Engineering at Unipower LLC from January 2014 to September 2016. Al also worked at GE Critical Power as part of the Engineered Site Solutions team from March 2013 to January 2014.

Al Cioffi has also worked at GE Lineage where they held the position of Business Development, responsible for integrating the PECO II acquisition into Lineage Power mainstream operations and expanding Lineage Power into new market spaces. Al started and executed the new Engineered Site Solutions business during their tenure at GE Lineage, which lasted from April 2010 to January 2014.

Prior to GE Lineage, Al Cioffi worked at PECO II as the VP of Business Development from October 2008 to April 2010. Al also held the role of VP of Business Development at Valere Power from April 2002 to September 2007.

Al'swork experience also includes VP of Engineering and Operations at Marconi (Reltec, Lorain) from June 1996 to June 2001. Al began their career at AT&T Power Systems - Bell Laboratories in 1980, where they worked as a Technical Manager until 1996.

Overall, Al Cioffi has a strong background in sales, business development, and engineering in the energy solutions industry.

Al Cioffi completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from Manhattan College, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. Following this, they pursued further education and attained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, studying there from 1980 to 1981.
