Erik Smith

Erik Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Erik is currently employed as the Sr. Director of Product Marketing at Plug Power, a position they have held since January 2022. Before that, Erik worked at FormFactor Inc. where they held two roles: Director of Operations from August 2020 to January 2022, and Director of Assembly & Test Engineering from February 2020 to August 2020.

Prior to their time at FormFactor Inc, Erik spent many years at Bloom Energy in various roles. From January 2018 to February 2020, they served as the Director of Program Management. Before that, they were a Senior Program Manager from July 2014 to December 2017. Erik also held the position of Senior Manager of Operations Excellence from January 2012 to June 2014, and Production Manager from September 2006 to December 2011.

Erik's career at Bloom Energy began as a Senior System Test Engineer from July 2006 to September 2006, and before that, as a System Test Engineer from January 2006 to July 2006. Prior to entering the private sector, Erik worked as an Operations Technician at FuelCell Energy from December 2004 to January 2006.

Erik's professional journey began in the United States Navy, where they served as an Engineering Laboratory Technician from December 1998 to November 2004.

Erik Smith attended DeVry University from 2008 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Management with a focus on Project Management.
