Role Description:

As VP of Marketing within Podimetrics, you will have the opportunity to lead all of our marketing activities related to serving our three primary customers: patients, providers, and payers. We are a customer first company and work backwards from our customers, focusing on their needs and defining how our solutions can help each of them. Our primary goal is to open unfettered access to our products for our patients. This means carrying our value proposition to patients, payers and providers and being able to clearly articulate the unique value for each of these audiences in a way that compels them to become a part of the extended Podimetrics team. You will work closely with our sales teams to help drive adoption and market penetration across all constituents and help us further expand across the Government channels and health plans across the country.

Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate is a mission driven, team oriented leader with significant experience in healthcare marketing, supporting business-to-business models, and managing as well as executing marketing efforts to patients, payers and providers. This position will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and will be responsible for leading all marketing efforts company-wide. You will play a significant role in the company’s strategic plan and will ensure that the Marketing department’s activities contribute to our company’s long-term success. Key focus areas include product marketing, branding, PR, digital marketing, creative & content development, thought leadership, and events

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute a holistic marketing plan and brand strategy to accelerate the growth of our business.
  • Drive the execution of impactful marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads.  Create go-to-marketing strategies across all channels to increase opportunities, including digital marketing campaigns, website, social media, thought leadership, advertising and sponsorships.
  • Build and maintain a set of standard KPI’s to determine the success of each marketing program and function.
  • Identify, plan, and execute presence at key national/regional industry conferences to promote the company and its program to target markets.
  • Manage and design external marketing collateral and presentations to support sales initiatives.
  • Coordination all media contact and ensure the company consistently gets the appropriate print and digital coverage. Maintain editorial control on all marketing and public relations collateral released on behalf of the company.
  • Liaison with national diabetes associations and legislative groups to support Podimetrics objective
  • Build, manage and work closely with our public relations firm partners to ensure that campaigns are staying on track and being well received by the public.
  • Define customer and buyer personas, prioritize their biggest challenges, define segments, understand purchasing behaviors, and research competing offerings.
  • Maintain brand standards and marketing policies and ensure compliance with these policies across the organization.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to drive innovation and inform marketing strategies.
  • Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience as a VP or Senior Director working in a b2b Health Care Environment.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of experience successfully supporting, building and executing go-to-market plans for medium and large health care accounts.

  • Experience with B2B Healthcare Programs. Understand the healthcare ecosystem including payer, Veterans, provider, consultant and employer personas to drive successful revenue delivery

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans and initiatives

  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to distill complex technical concepts into clear and compelling messaging

  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience leading high-performing teams

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
