Ron Burns

Ron Burns has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ron is currently involved with Band of Angels, a seed funding organization where they serve as a Co-Chair, Software SIG/Investor and a member/investor. Ron is also a Seed Investor at POLLEN Metrology, a company that provides AI/ML powered software metrology platform. In addition, they serve as an Advisor to the CEO at Mipsology, a startup focused on deep learning inference acceleration, and nCorium, where they advise the CEO.

Ron has also been actively involved in mentorship roles. Ron has served as a Mentor at Alchemist Accelerator and Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center.

In their previous roles, Ron worked at Synopsys where they held the position of Director, Product Solutions Sales. Ron was responsible for sales strategy and leading a sales team for the Verification Continuum platform, achieving significant market share impact. Ron also worked as the VP of Sales at Emulation and Verification Engineering, where they led field operations and was involved in strategic accounts.

Prior to that, Ron held the position of GM, Semiconductor and Systems Solutions at Wipro Technologies, where they managed a large design services team and delivered successful projects in VLSI and system design. Ron also worked as the VP of Worldwide Sales at Teja, a company focused on embedded system OS for multi-core processors, where they played a key role in network processing and multi-core network development.

Ron Burns has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Santa Clara University. Ron also completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida. The specific years or duration of their education are not provided.
