Eric has over 15 years of senior management experience working in public health and development across Africa, Latin America, and Asia. He has implemented projects in a wide range of health areas including HIV, TB, NCDs, SRH/FP and Public Health Emergency Operation Centers. Starting his career in Bolivia as a Peace Corps Volunteer in 1991, Eric continued his work in the high-tech private sector industry in the Silicon Valley until he received his master’s degree in Global Policy and Strategy from UCSD. Eric has used private sector best practices to drive the implementation of public health programs in collaboration with MoH counterparts. He has managed projects funded by a wide range of donors including USAID, DFID, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Global Fund, etc. Eric has sat on various board of trustees including PSI branch offices and Global Fund country coordinating mechanisms. Eric enjoys bringing strategically aligned private sector speed and agility to public health problems.
