Allan Eddy

Allan Eddy is a retired Natural Resource Professional with extensive experience in the natural resource sector in both government and private sector roles. Allan has worked for Port Hawkesbury Paper LP as the Director of Business Development, where they focused on trade and structural issues affecting the forest industry. Allan also worked as the Executive Director of Corporate Strategic Initiatives at the NS Department of Finance and Treasury Board and as an Associate Deputy Minister at the Departments of Agriculture and Fisheries & Aquaculture. Prior to that, Allan served as the Chief Operating Officer at Renova and held various positions at the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources. Allan also worked as the Director of Private Land Stewardship & Outreach at the Government of Nova Scotia and as the Provincial Co-Lead at the Provincial Bowater Response Team. Allan's earlier experience includes working as the Manager of Vegetation Management at Nova Scotia Power.

Allan Eddy received their Bachelor's Degree in Resource Management from the University of New Brunswick, where they attended from 1975 to 1980.
