Freya Franklin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in process improvement, operations management, and project execution. Currently serving as a Senior Process Improvement Business Partner at Port Waratah Coal Services since March 2017, Freya has successfully enhanced coal receival automation processes and established operational flow models. Additionally, Freya held a secondment role as Operations Superintendent at Carrington Terminal, leading a team of 44 employees. As a Project Manager, Freya oversaw a key bucketwheel replacement project, ensuring safe and budget-compliant execution. In September 2023, Freya took on the role of Director of Education at Cooks Hill Surf Life Saving Club, focusing on training and skill development. With prior experience as Treasurer at St Andrews Community Preschool and Senior Project Engineer at Ford Motor Company, Freya brings a diverse skill set. Freya holds an MBA from Deakin University and an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing from the University of Melbourne.
