Tim Zimmer

Tim Zimmer has a diverse work history spanning several industries. Tim began their career in 1982 as the General Manager at Thoma and Sutton Eyecare, where they worked until 2010. During this time, they gained extensive experience in managing eyecare operations.

In 2001, Tim ventured into entrepreneurship and became the Owner of Elbe Photography, a role they held until 2010. As the owner, they were responsible for all aspects of the business, including client management, marketing, and financial oversight.

Following their time in photography, Tim took on the role of Stay at home dad from 2010 to 2015. In this position, they managed the household and healthcare of their two children, including coordinating doctors and overseeing daily therapy sessions. Tim also acted as a general contractor during a home remodel project.

In 2014, Tim joined Blue Chip 2000 as a Custodian for a brief period before transitioning to the role of GP Lab Manager at Diversified Ophthalmics, Inc., MidSouth Premier Ophthalmics, Inc., and Firestone Optics, Inc. from 2015 to 2017. In this role, they managed the lab operations and played a key role in ensuring quality control and efficiency.

Tim then pursued a career in the financial industry, starting as a Loan Officer at Mid-American Financial for a short period in 2018. Tim then joined Fidelity Mortgage Incorporated as a Senior Loan Officer, where they excelled in mortgage origination and customer service.

In 2019, Tim became a Project Manager at Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries, overseeing various projects until 2020. Tim utilized their strong organizational and leadership skills to ensure successful project completion.

Most recently, Tim joined PORTCO, Inc. as a Project Manager in 2020, where they continue to utilize their project management expertise to drive successful outcomes for the company.

Tim Zimmer attended St John Deer Park Ohio from 1965 to 1973. From 1973 to 1977, they pursued their college preparatory studies at Archbishop Moeller High School. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from 1977 to 1987.
