Rishi Sharma

Rishi Sharma has four years of work experience in the field of data science. In 2019, they began working as the Head of NLP at Posh Technologies, where they lead product development and research management for conversational AI products. Rishi is responsible for market research, competitor research and product analysis, and manages a team of scientists to develop solutions using NLU/NLP, Lingusitics, Machine Learning, and other Data Science based techniques. From 2017-2019, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at GALAHAD, where they were the principal scientist and engineer in the development of AI platform for business services. Rishi was also the lead developer in building NLP and machine learning components for the platform, and developed machine learning solutions for business clients in a wide array of fields. In 2016, they worked as a Data Scientist at 1010data, where they analyzed massive data sets and gained unique industry insight using the 1010data platform. Rishi also mapped client business issues to many data sets and created analytical products that combined the 1010data platform and hosted datasets. In 2016, they also worked as a Data Science Intern at EduPal, Inc.

Rishi Sharma attended the University of Rochester from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Applied Mathematics with Theirtory and Computer Science minors. Rishi then returned to the University of Rochester from 2015 to 2016 to earn a Master's Degree in Data Science.
