Preface

This position is contingent upon a Federal contract award notice scheduled to occur on or about March 1, 2024. Upon award, candidates must be available for employment as soon as March 15, 2024.

This position requires U.S. citizenship, a U.S. passport with at least 18 months of validity (as of March 1, 2024), and at least three (3) empty pages. Completion of a security background check is also required.

Overview

A Program Trainer position is responsible for planning and conducting online professional learning sessions with teachers, administrators, and other educational specialists for an evidence-based social and character development program. This position requires a personality suited for public interaction that can present program concepts in a professional and succinct manner. Program Trainers are required to discuss student behavior, academic performance, and educational philosophies with educators and administrators. Training for this position requires extensive self-study, research, and observation.

The open position is directly responsible for a Federal customer that has schools worldwide. This position would conduct remote training sessions with schools during normal business hours in their respective region. Trainers are required to travel to various remote offices for extended periods of time to conduct the training sessions.

Duties

• Collaborate with training leads on session materials.

• Prepare training session materials.

• Rehearse training materials with team members.

• Travel to remote offices.

• Perform program training with customers.

• Engage in discussions with educators and administrators.

• Organize travel expenses and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

This position requires at least four (4) years of teaching in a K-12 environment. A 4-year degree in an applicable field is preferred. Preference will be given to those candidates with previous teaching and training experience.

Skills

This position requires strong computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office. Routine duties require the use of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.

Travel

Candidates must be comfortable and available for extensive domestic and international travel. The amount of travel will vary year-to-year but is projected to be extensive in 2024 and 2025. Time away from home in a single assignment may be as long as two (2) months.

Salary

The salary range begins at $65,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
