Work Model

This position is based in Madison, Wisconsin and is work from office. Relocation packages and allowances will be provided. The position will be supported by an Administrative Assistant.

Overview

Positive Action is currently recruiting for a senior education administrator to perform the role of Project Manager for a large, multi-year, multi-country implementation project. Qualified candidates will have at least four years of previous experience in executing and managing complicated, multi-year projects. This position is tasked with maintaining full compliance with a federal contract with quality surveillance metrics of 90% or higher.

The largest component of the project scope is professional development. The specified regimen applies to every level of a large multi-district organization, from teachers to above-district level leaders. Qualified candidates will have demonstrable experience fielding professional development efforts at scale and managing the workforce required to produce each offering.

Duties

  • Provide a lead role in the development of a 5-year professional development plan for a multi-district implementation project spanning 160 schools in 11 foreign countries.
  • Manage deployment of a cadre of trainers to execute the professional development plan.
  • Coordinate development activities with the project’s Instructional Designer and a federal liaison.
  • Manage a team of field experts with multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
  • Provide leadership for other project roles such as implementation troubleshooting, new software rollouts, testing periods, and public relations.
  • Prepare analytics and reports for senior federal staff.

Qualifications This position requires a Master’s degree or higher, at least 4 years of district-level administration experience and previous project management experience.

Candidates must have experience with SEL and MTSS implementation strategies.

Skills

This position requires strong computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office. Routine duties require the use of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.

Travel

No significant travel is expected.

Salary

The salary range begins at $175,000.
