DANIEL I. FISHER is a corporate partner in the New York and Washington offices of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, is the co-leader of Akin Gump's integrated special situations group and leads the transactional practice in the Washington office. Dan practices at the nexus of M&A, restructuring, securities and finance, and has market-leading experience in the unique issues raised by distressed and special situations. He primarily represents private equity and hedge funds in distressed transactions and restructurings and the portfolio companies of these funds in M&A, securities, and finance transactions.
