Jeff Connell

Jeff Connell has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Jeff started their career in 1992 at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) as an Enforcement Manager, where they ensured businesses' compliance with environmental laws. At MPCA, they also worked as a Manager of Compliance and Enforcement, inspecting various areas such as hazardous waste, solid waste, and air quality. In 2013, they joined St. Paul Public Schools as an Assistant Director of Facilities, where they focused on environmentally responsible operations and sustainable practices. In 2021, they became the Executive Director of Facilities, Operations, and Transportation at Robbinsdale Area Schools, overseeing 2.65 million square feet of buildings and managing operational aspects, transportation, distribution, and security needs. Jeff coached debate at Nova Classical Academy Upper School starting in 2016 and served as Senior Community Faculty at Metropolitan State University from 2011. Jeff'smost recent position is Chief Operating Officer at Poudre School District since 2023.

Jeff Connell obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Winona State University, where they attended from 1987 to 1992. Following this, they pursued further education at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law.
