Dan K.

Dan K. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dan has held roles in various leadership and human resources positions. From 2022 to present, they have served as the Vice President of Talent & Culture at Woodward at POWDR. Prior to that, they held the position of Regional Director of Talent & Culture for Woodward Mountain Centers in Park City and Tahoe from 2021 to 2022. In 2020, they were the Director of Human Resources for Boreal Mountain Resort, Woodward Tahoe, and Soda Springs Mountain Resort.

In addition to their roles in the outdoor recreation industry, Dan K. has experience in education. Dan has worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business starting in 2023.

Before their career in talent and culture, Dan K. co-founded Edtrinsic in 2020 and served as the Head of Learning. Dan also has experience in human resources and learning leadership as the VP of Human Resources and Learning at Goodwill Industries of Sacramento Valley & Northern Nevada, Inc. from 2019 to 2020, and as an HR Business Partner at Specialized Bicycle Components from 2019 to 2019.

Dan K. began their career in the sports and recreation industry, working for Vail Resorts from 2006 to 2019. Dan'svarious roles at Vail Resorts included Senior Manager of Talent Development, Manager of Talent Development, Assistant Manager of Ski School and Race Operations, Supervisor of Ski School Operations, and Ski Instructor.

Outside of their professional career, Dan K. has also founded and served as the President of Tri DNA Multisport, a triathlon race company, from 2008 to 2012. Dan has experience in race production, coaching, and equipment rentals, including working with national and international events and teams.

Dan K. has a background in both management and organizational development as well as electrical engineering. Dan attended Harvard University for their studies in Management & Organizational Development. In addition, they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.

Dan has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Dan became an Insights Discovery Practitioner through Insights in October 2013. Additionally, they achieved the Strategic HR Business Partner certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in August 2013. Lastly, they obtained accreditation as a facilitator for EQi 2.0 from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS), although the specific date is not available.
