Steve Dennis has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Steve'smost recent role is with Public Partnerships | PPL in the field of Operations since May 2021. Before that, they were self-employed, mainly focused on Project Management and Technical Operations starting from April 2020.

Steve has held a significant position at Univar as the Director of Global IT Customer Service, Security & Infrastructure from March 2011 to January 2020. In this role, they managed IT professionals and supplier partners worldwide, overseeing various IT services like core infrastructure computing, cloud computing, networking, identity management, decision support tools, and call center services. Steve also refined IT Service Management processes and toolsets, and was responsible for a budget of $25M+.

From December 1998 to December 2010, Steve worked at Starbucks Coffee Company in various roles. As the Director of IT Service Center and Global Sourcing Services, they led a team responsible for retail POS systems, end-user support, call center management, IT Systems Management, and international infrastructure support. Steve also served as the Director of IT Sustainment and QA Services, where they oversaw teams proficient in procurement, store replenishment, distribution, accounting, finance, and more. Furthermore, as the Director of IT Technical Services, Steve was responsible for enterprise technology planning, design/engineering, implementation, and support for global systems. Steve also worked as the Manager of IT Enterprise System Administration, playing a key role in deploying IT systems management tools and processes.

Before their time at Starbucks, Steve worked at Coldwater Creek from August 1997 to August 1998 as the Manager of IT Technical Team, where they delivered IT infrastructure services for a nationwide online retailer. Prior to that, they worked at Univar from January 1989 to July 1997 as the Manager of Network Services Team, overseeing the design, installation, and support of voice and data networks for multiple locations in the United States.

Steve's early career began at Shell Oil Company, where they worked as an Engineer from July 1983 to January 1989. Steve played a crucial role in providing voice and data services for various business projects, specifically handling the supply chain network application used nationwide.

Overall, Steve Dennis has extensive experience in operations, project management, technical operations, and IT services in a variety of industries, showcasing their expertise in managing teams, refining processes, and optimizing budgets.

Steve Dennis has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman. Steve also has a background in Telecommunications from Southern Methodist University. In addition to their formal education, Steve has obtained several certifications including Project Management Foundations: Requirements, Finance for Non-Financial Managers, DevOps Foundations, and Operational Excellence Foundations, all from LinkedIn. These certifications were obtained in 2020.
