Andy Scheff

Andy Scheff has a diverse work experience. Andy co-founded Practica in December 2019 and currently serves as the Co-Founder & CTO. Andy was also a Member at South Park Commons from November 2019 to November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Motion. from May 2018 to April 2019.

Andy also has experience at Dropbox, where they held various roles including Engineering Manager from December 2016 to July 2017, Product Manager from August 2015 to December 2016, and Software Engineer from August 2012 to July 2015. At Dropbox, they worked on mobile apps and was a founding member of the team that built and launched Carousel, a dedicated photos app.

Before their time at Dropbox, Andy worked as an Undergraduate TA/Head TA at Brown University from January 2010 to May 2012. In this role, they developed course materials, led discussion sections, graded assignments, and organized and led teams of TAs.

Andy also gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Mozilla Corporation from June 2011 to September 2011.

Andy Scheff attended Brown University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
