Katie Scott has extensive work experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as well as organizational development. Katie is currently serving as the Head of Culture and Inclusion at The Premier League, where they focus on creating a diverse and inclusive environment. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of K Scott Consulting, a company specializing in DEI and social impact. In this role, they provided support to various organizations in implementing organizational and culture change, leadership development, equality and inclusion programs, and coaching and mentoring schemes.

Katie also held positions at the International Rescue Committee as a Culture and Inclusion Manager and Project Manager, where they developed and implemented DEI action plans and facilitated culture change efforts. Katie briefly worked as an Organizational Development Consultant at Upskill Me.

Before that, Katie served as the Head of Student Opportunities and Head of Coaching and Mentoring at Edinburgh University Students' Association, where they focused on inclusive leadership and community development. Katie also worked at The Welcoming Association as a Research Consultant, evaluating their Skills for New Scots Program. Additionally, they worked as a Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh and EUSA, teaching inclusive leadership development.

Katie's experience also includes being the Co-Chair of the International Academic Peer Leadership Group at IAPL and an Organizational Development Consultant at the University of East London. Katie was also a Reflection Coach Programme Consultant at the Mastercard Foundation.

Katie Scott has a diverse education background with multiple degrees and certifications. In 2022, they attended Harvard Business School and completed a program in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for Managers, focusing on Intercultural/Multicultural and Diversity Studies. In 2016-2017, they pursued a PG Cert in Professional Consulting from the Chartered Management Institute, specializing in Consultancy. In 2013, they obtained a certification as a Certified PASS Supervisor from Lund University, emphasizing Student Leadership. Additionally, in 2005-2006, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the University of Glasgow in Human Rights and International Development, with a minor in gender studies. Katie completed their Bachelor's degree at the University of Dundee in 2001-2005, achieving a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English Literature and Political Science. During this time, they also spent a year at the University of Wroclaw, studying International Politics. Furthermore, in 2022, they obtained an Award in Managing Equality and Diversity Programs in Organizations from the Institute of Leadership and Management.
