Mark Smith

Mark Smith has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing industry. Mark currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer at Primient since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Global Operations at The Chemours Company from February 2017 to November 2022. Before joining The Chemours Company, Mark worked at DuPont for over 30 years, holding various roles including Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, and Operations Manager. In these roles, they successfully managed operations, achieving record composite UpTime and maintaining a high safety standard.

Mark Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University from 1986 to 1990. Mark also holds several certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma from The Council for Six Sigma Certification, obtained in 2004, 2005, and 2011.
