Andrew Vickers

Andrew Vickers has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Andrew began their career in 1987 as a Director at Continental Illinois National Bank, where they managed risk on a multi-currency global portfolio of FX Option trades and supervised a team of FX Option traders. In 1994, they joined ABN AMRO Bank as Vice President, where they established a new FX Option trading operation in the London office, was responsible for 24-hour investment and trading decisions on a multi-currency FX Option portfolio, and was appointed Business Liaison for a $6M two-year project to integrate four regional FX Option trading desks into a single global operation. In 1998, they joined FNX Limited as Chief Technology Officer, where they had overall responsibility for System Architecture, guided the technical design of system enhancements for all products, and governed the migration of the entire system to n-tier architecture. Andrew also managed a team of System Architects and was Project Manager for multiple client implementation and upgrade projects. In 2005, they joined Principia Partners LLC as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, where they lead the Development Team, commands the corporate infrastructure, and oversees the System Administration Team. Andrew also spearheads hardware/software evaluation, selection, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and outsourcing.

Andrew Vickers received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College London between 1983 and 1987. Prior to this, they attended Stonyhurst College between 1978 and 1983.
