Suchakra S.

Suchakra S. has had a varied work experience over the past 13 years. In 2008, they began as a Summer Intern at NTPC Limited. In 2011, they held the role of Assistant Systems Engineer - EIS (Embedded) at Tata Consultancy Services and Consultant at AGD Biomedicals, where they consulted on an ARM based platform for an interactive HMI. Suchakra also wrote documentation for their employees for further development on the framework. From 2013-2017, they were a PhD Researcher at \u00c9cole Polytechnique de Montr\u00e9al, and during this time they were also a Contributing Author at The New Stack and a GSoC Mentor at Fedora Project. From 2017-2020, they held the roles of Principal Scientist and Staff Scientist at ShiftLeft, Inc. and, as of 2020, is currently the Director at Unstructured Studio. Suchakra is set to take on the role of Chief Scientist at privado.ai in 2022.

Suchakra S. completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an M.Tech (Instrumentation & Control) in Embedded Systems and Biomedical from COEP Technological University between 2010 and 2011. Suchakra also earned a B.E. in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation from Maharshi Dayanand University between 2005 and 2009. Lastly, they completed their Xth & XIIth in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology from Cambridge School, New Delhi, from 1995 to 2005. Additionally, they have a certification in Building Mobile Experiences (MITx, 21W.789x) from edX.
