Ashlee Ramirez

Ashlee Ramirez began their work experience as an intern to House Representative Bryan Hughes at the Texas State Capitol in 2007. Ashlee then worked as a legal assistant at the Hermosa Law Firm in 2008. In 2010, they joined Medicus Insurance Company, starting as a CSR and eventually being promoted to Associate Underwriter. At Medicus Insurance Company, they were responsible for various tasks such as reviewing applications, preparing quotes, coordinating client work-flow, and conducting policy maintenance tasks. Ashlee remained with the company until 2012 when they moved to NORCAL Mutual Insurance Company. At NORCAL Mutual, Ashlee initially worked as a Senior Underwriter on the Custom Accounts team, handling professional liability underwriting for large accounts and programs. Later, they transitioned to the role of Senior Product Research Analyst, conducting research and analysis to enhance the company's position within the medical malpractice marketplace. Recently, Ashlee joined ProAssurance in 2021 as a Sr. Innovation Research Analyst, where they conduct research and analysis to enhance the company's position within the MPL marketplace and identifies emerging market trends and developments to inform the innovation roadmap.

Ashlee Ramirez obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin between 2006 and 2009. Ashlee majored in history with a focus on US Media and Latin American Studies while also minoring in Spanish.
