Oleg Kupershmidt

Oleg Kupershmidt has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Product Management and User Experience at Progress, where they led the product management and user experience efforts for application and data platforms. Prior to that, they held senior director and director positions at Progress, responsible for product management in various areas such as enterprise application experience and core products.

Before joining Progress, Oleg worked at Ipswitch, Inc. as the Director of Product Management, overseeing the management and expansion of the MOVEit Cloud product line. Oleg played a crucial role in launching the MOVEit flagship offering on the Azure Marketplace and leading the review and upgrade of contractual terms and legal framework for SaaS delivery.

Oleg also has experience with CA Technologies, where they served as a Senior Director and Advisor in two different product management roles. Oleg managed the cloud security solution portfolio and facilitated the business transformation into a SaaS provider. Additionally, they oversaw the widely adopted IT infrastructure management solution and led the transformation to scaled Agile software development.

Furthermore, Oleg worked at Vivox, a high-tech startup, as the Director of Product Management, where they pioneered SaaS-based multi-user communication solutions for virtual worlds and online games.

Oleg began their career at Nokia, where they held various positions such as Carrier Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and Sr. Product Manager in the telecommunications field.

Prior to Nokia, they worked as an Information Security Consultant at Security Domain Pty. Ltd. and as a Design Engineer at Telecom Australia (Telstra) in the payphones engineering department.

Throughout their career, Oleg has demonstrated expertise in product management, user experience, SaaS delivery, business transformation, market analysis, and agile software development methodologies.

Oleg Kupershmidt holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Technology and Marketing Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management. Oleg also has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from RMIT University and an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Colegiul Politehnic din Chișinău. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Scaled Agile Framework Agilist (SA) from the Scaled Agile Academy and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance. Oleg is also a Certified Product Manager from Pragmatic Marketing.
