Paul Wilcox has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Paul currently works as a Data Engineer at Propel Finance, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust from January 2020 to September 2021 as an IT Applications Support, where they were involved in creating console applications, server-hosted applications, and APIs using ASP.Net Core/.NET 5 MVC and Blazor. Paul also administrated Azure DevOps, refactored code, troubleshooted application issues, and collaborated with stakeholders to design and implement applications based on requirements analysis.

Before transitioning into the technology field, Paul worked as an English Language Teacher for several years. Paul taught at Cambridge School Portugal from October 2013 to June 2018, where they researched and designed lesson plans, delivered English lessons to non-native students, and conducted tailored one-on-one classes. Paul also worked as an English Language Teacher at Idiomaster Academia de Inglés from September 2012 to June 2013 and at ENGLISH CENTER CANTABRIA SLL from January 2012 to June 2012.

Paul's earliest work experience was as a Customer Team Member at Co-op from June 2007 to June 2011.

Paul Wilcox's education history includes earning a BA (Hons) degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of Plymouth, which they attended from 2008 to 2011.
