Alessandra Melisa Morante Perez-Reyes, M.Sc., FMVA

Alessandra Melisa Morante Perez-Reyes, M.Sc., FMVA has a wealth of experience in the financial and data operations industries. From 2009 to 2010, they held internships at Scotiabank and APOYO Publicaciones in the Corporate and Commercial Loans and Commercial Area, respectively. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Vale as an Administrative and Financial Analyst, where they headed budget adjustment meetings and created monthly operational budget reports. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Anglo American as a Finance and Treasury Analyst and Responsible for Financial Planning, where they performed financial fundamentals analysis of potential suppliers and created a Financial Analysis and Guarantees Definition Procedure. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Colorado School of Mines as a Principal of Economics' Graduate Teacher Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant. Lastly, from 2019 to 2022, they worked at Corporación Dicol as an Interim Manager, where they expanded the distribution channel to supermarkets and supervised the sales and distribution areas. Currently, they are the Head of Data, Director of Data Operations, and Financial Analyst at Prospector.

Alessandra Melisa obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance, General from Universidad de Piura between 2006 and 2010. In 2012, they attended GERENS Escuela de Postgrado for the Mining Finance program (COFIVAL - Costos, Finanzas y Creación de Valor para la Minería) and Escuela de Dirección de la Universidad de Piura for the Programa Enfocado: Planeamiento Financiero. In 2013, they attended GERENS Escuela de Postgrado for the Diplomado en Gestion Estrategica para la Nueva Mineria program. In 2014, they attended Colorado School of Mines for the Using Dynamic DCF and Real Options to Value & Manage Mining & Petroleum Projects program and GERENS Escuela de Postgrado for the Minería para Ejecutivos no Mineros program. Alessandra Melisa obtained their Master's degree in Mineral and Energy Economics from Colorado School of Mines between 2017 and 2018. In 2020, they obtained their Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) Certification from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI).
