Galia Kfir Pharmd

Galia Kfir, PharmD, MBA, is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in medical science liaison roles, specializing in neurodegenerative diseases, hematology, and cardiology. Currently serving as Principal Medical Science Liaison at Prothena Corporation plc since January 2023, Galia engages in scientific exchanges and presents to medical communities across the western US and APAC region, with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease and AL amyloidosis. Previously, Galia held senior positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Kowa Pharmaceuticals, Canyon Pharmaceuticals, PDL BioPharma, and NitroMed, contributing to pre- and post-launch medical affairs and fostering relationships with key opinion leaders. Galia's academic background includes an MBA from ESCP Business School and Purdue University, along with a PharmD from the University of the Pacific and advanced studies in microbiology and immunology.
