Steven Rennie

Steven Rennie has extensive work experience in the field of research and AI. Steven started their career in 1998 at MD Robotics as a Software/Electrical Engineer. From there, they joined IBM Research in 2007 as a Research Staff Member, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they also served as the Director of AI Research at Fusemachines from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Steven is a Senior Research Scientist at Pryon, a position they have held since 2019.

Steven Rennie completed a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and Signal Processing from the University of Toronto, starting in 2003 and finishing in 2008. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1998, they obtained a BASc in Engineering Science and Biomedical Engineering, also from the University of Toronto.
