Gameplay Programmer at PUBG Corporation

Lars de Smit has a strong background in gameplay programming, with experience at various gaming companies. Lars is currently employed at PUBG Corporation as a Gameplay Programmer since January 2020. Prior to this, Lars worked at Wargaming as a Gameplay Programmer from September 2018 to October 2019. Lars also gained experience at Bohemia Interactive as a Gameplay Programmer from July 2018 to August 2018, and as a Game Programming Intern from September 2017 to June 2018. Lars began their career at DreamPunks, where they served as the Tech Lead/Programmer for a student project from September 2016 to July 2017. In this role, they were responsible for the technical aspects of the project, including meeting deadlines, task distribution, and maintaining a professional working environment.

Lars de Smit began their education at Gemini College Ridderkerk in 2007, where they pursued VWO in Economie en Maatschappij. Lars studied there until 2014, completing their pre-university education. Following this, from 2014 to 2018, Lars enrolled at Breda University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Creative Media and Game Technologies. Currently, Lars is attending Open Universiteit, starting in 2020 with an expected completion date in 2027. Lars is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics.
