Crystal Costa Flexman

Crystal Costa Flexman has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Crystal is currently working at the Public Health Institute as the Associate Vice President of Business Development, where they lead the implementation of the business development strategy and manages the business development team. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director of Business Development, Program Design, and External Partnerships. Crystal also has experience as the Director of Development at PHI, where they worked closely with project directors and principal investigators to support collaboration and proposal development. Before joining PHI, Crystal worked at Tetra Tech as the Director of Business Development and as a Business Development Manager, where they provided strategic advice and guidance and prepared proposals for upcoming RFPs. Crystal started their career at Chemonics International as a Project Manager, managing multi-million dollar international programs for USAID. Crystal also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at CCT Program/Georgetown University, a Graduate Intern/Research Associate at the United States Chamber of Commerce, a Linguist at Carmazzi and Associates LLC, and an Undergraduate Intern at the California Senate Office - International Relations.

Crystal Costa Flexman has a Master of Arts degree in Communications, Culture, & Technology from Georgetown University (2005-2007) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Communication & Linguistics from the University of California, Davis (2000-2004).
