Julia Brakensiek

Julia Brakensiek is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in the fashion and sportswear industries. Currently functioning as a Freelance Senior Design Consultant and Designer since January 2015, Julia is also the founder of Beyond Yoga Berlin. Julia has held the role of Senior Designer Performance at Puma SE since October 2008, providing expertise in high-performance apparel design. Previous experience includes positions as a Freelance Senior Consultant and Designer at F2, ESPRIT Europe Trading & Product Development GmbH, and as a Freelance Consultant and Designer for ESPRIT Australia/New Zealand, where Julia served as Head of Design for the ESP Esprit Sports division. Julia's early career features roles as a Freelance Designer for various brands, including Protective and MOE-Skateboards, and as a Designer for HOMEBOY. Julia holds a diploma in fashion design and pattern making, with a focus on sportswear, from ESMOD International Berlin, completed in 1999.
