Shannon Berens

Shannon Berens is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in talent acquisition and strategy. Currently serving as the Associate Director of People at Purple Carrot since September 2023, Shannon previously held the position of Global Director of Talent Acquisition and Strategy at Flexcar, overseeing talent attraction in the US, India, and Jamaica from February 2021 to August 2023. Prior to this, Shannon was the Director of Talent Acquisition and Strategy at Zipcar, where leadership of a team focused on attracting talent across the US and Canada was achieved. Shannon's experience also includes roles at Eliassen Group, The Davis Companies, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and EdgeRock Technology Partners, showcasing a progressive career in recruitment and operations. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
