Mark Regan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Mark began their career in 1987 as a Manufacturing Engineering Group Leader at Honeywell - MICRO SWITCH. Mark then worked as a Supervisor in Manufacturing Engineering at Rockford Powertrain Inc from 1992 to 1994. From 1994 to 1995, they served as a Manufacturing Engineering Lead at SSI Technologies, Inc.
In 1995, Mark joined Unison Industries as the Director of Operations, where they led the Rockford plant, responsible for the Slick Aircraft Magneto, Harness, and Spark Plug manufacturing operations. Unison Industries was later acquired by GE Aviation in 2002. At GE Aviation, Mark held various roles, including Lean Leader, COE Lean Leader, and Global Lean Leader - Aviation Supply Chain. Mark played a key role in deploying the GE Aviation Production System and coaching Lean Leaders worldwide. Mark also achieved Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Master Lean Leader certifications at GE.
Mark's work experience also includes being the Director of Continuous Improvement & Lean at PCC AEROSTRUCTURES from 2018 to 2020. Mark served as the Regional Director Lean East at Johnson Controls from 2020 to 2023. Currently, Mark is the KPO Director - Global Ops at Pursuit Aerospace, a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components.
In addition, Mark has been involved in academia as a Guest Instructor and Student Capstone Project Coach at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business since 2014. Mark has developed course content and presented on 3P concepts for the Max M. Fisher College of Masters Business Operational Excellence program.
Throughout their career, Mark Regan has demonstrated a strong passion for driving operational excellence and has mentored lean talent. Their experience spans leadership roles, continuous improvement, lean practices, and operational management.
Mark Regan received their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Iowa State University in 1987. Mark later obtained a Master's degree in Operational Excellence from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in 2013. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Master Lean Leader from General Electric - Aviation and as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt from General Electric, earned in 2005 and 2004 respectively.
