Welton Chang is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in technology, security, and humanitarian efforts. Currently serving as Co-founder and CEO of Pyrra Tech and Strategic Advisor for Metaculus, Chang also holds positions as Senior Advisor and Tech Advisory Board Member at Human Rights First. As a member of the On Deck Deep Tech Founding Fellow program and a Board Member at the Rockefeller Center at Dartmouth, Chang actively contributes to various initiatives. Furthermore, Chang has been a member of the Board of Directors at the American Resilience Project since 2016 and served as a Security Fellow at the Truman National Security Project until 2023. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations from Dartmouth College, a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Georgetown University, and both a Doctor of Philosophy and Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
