Lachlan Death has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as the Manager of Regional Operational Support at Qantas since September 2018, where involvement includes the Qantas CASR 21 project. Prior to this, Lachlan held roles such as Operational Support Engineer and Project Engineer at Qantas, focusing on large-scale commercial projects, including the reconfiguration of twelve Airbus A380 aircraft. Previous experience includes serving as an Aircraft Structural Integrity Engineer at Airbus, managing the airworthiness of the RAAF C-130J-30 fleet, and working at Five Rings Aerospace Pty Ltd as a Design Engineer, Graduate Engineer, and Work Experience Engineer, specializing in repairs and modifications for various aircraft. Lachlan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from UNSW, completed in 2014.
