Raymond Blanchard

Raymond Blanchard is an experienced professional in corporate business development, intellectual property, and licensing within the life sciences and molecular diagnostics sectors. Currently serving as Director of Corporate Business Development, IP & Licensing at QIAGEN since April 2010, Raymond manages global contract relationships and develops corporate partnerships. Previously held positions include Associate Director roles in IP & Licensing and R&D Project Management at QIAGEN and Assistant Director of Technology Development at SABiosciences Corp. Raymond began their career as a Senior Scientist at SuperArray Bioscience Corp. and has a strong background in nutritional genomics from a research faculty position at the University of Florida. Raymond holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, along with an MS and BS in Biochemistry, all obtained from the University of California, Riverside. Additionally, Raymond served as a Sergeant in the USMC Reserves from 1982 to 1988.
